To say Flora's is wonderful would be an understatement. The atmosphere was very friendly and laidback. Decor was very unique with stories behind them.

The food was to die for due to being seasoned generously, great pairings, a unique spin, and being cooked to perfection. Flora managed to make already delicious dishes even more delicious. I love how she combines various cultures and flavors. I am glad we went with a recommendation for an appetizer because they managed to make a pupusa with so much flavor.

Dessert was equally as delicious. I am often let down by dessert at restaurants, but my parents and I decided to take a gamble on sweet dreams (their version of a banana split) and the fried guava dessert. Holy moly! So delicious. As my father ate the guava dessert, he stated, "Wow, this is delicious. There are so many flavors happening it is like a party in my mouth!"

Due to it being a small restaurant, I would try to make a reservation if possible. However, they managed to squeeze us in within 15 minutes.

A fantastic restaurant that serves Latin cuisine. I had the El Bote Hundido, roasted pork on a sweet plantain "boat" with rice and beans, garnished with avocado and an egg. Simply fantastic. BYOB. Save room for desert.

I was doubting this place at first, but my husband and brother insisted. I am so glad we went. The food was amazing. Everything is made to order and it was fantastic. Beef empanadas were the best! I had the paella and it was the best paella I ever had. Dessert we got sweet dreams which was fried plantain with a scoop of vanilla, coconut and salted caramel pretzel ice creams. I usually do not like anything with bananas or plantains, but this was sooo good. The restaurant looks like a cute little townhouse that was converted and the decor is nice. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Tables were cool, the stand under tables were big drums.

Found this spot on Yelp when we were in town for the night.  We loved it!   The service was super friendly.  The place was tight, but we didn't feel cramped.  The food was DELICIOUS.
We shared an empanada and it was as good as it gets.  The sauces made it even better.  Not sure what the white sauce was, but I cleaned out the container!
My pernil was amazing and there was plenty leftover for take outs.
The hubs lobster paella was full of meat and he too had plenty to take home.
One bit of caution if you are price conscious, ask for the prices as they are not listed!  We were a bit surprised, but could only blame ourselves for not asking, that the paella was $50.  If my 30 year old self had eaten there and had that shock at check time, I would have been washing dishes.
